The Rena OEM RO5500H is a vertical oriented water pump ideal for large fountains, waterfalls, ponds and for general transfer and dewatering needs. The intake is on the bottom and allows the pump to work in shallow basins. It requires only a minimum of 2 inches of water to start pumping. The pump features a filtered intake on the bottom which will remove larger debris and prevent clogging. The pump handles solids up to ΒΌ inch with no problem. The motor is a split-tube design with asynchronous motor and only one moving part. Motors are resin filled and contain no oil. The impeller is a vortex type and covered on both sides for added strength and durability when pumping solids. The strainer can be removed which allows easy removal of the impeller for cleaning.
