When you start using the pump, you have to dip into the water at a slight angle to allow the remaining air to escape. There is a vent hole on the water pump, so water will leak from here when the water pump is working, this is a normal phenomenon, not the water pump is damaged. There are 3 different outlets (1 inch, 1-1/4 inch, 1-1/2 inch) which can be selected according to the flow, the higher the flow, the wider the outlet. Ideal for ponds, swimming pools, sprinkler systems, irrigation systems, gardening, rain barrels, flooded basements, large aquariums. When the water level rises above the pump, the pump will automatically start working under the control of the float switch. When the water level is lower than the pump, the float should be lifted for pumping. Note: Once the pump fails to pump water, lower the float switch or cut off the power immediately.
